A sunny day for the BKVC presentation!

On Wednesday 16th October, Froxfield was finally presented with the engraved shield and framed certificate for winning the ‘Best Newcomer’ category in Wiltshire’s Best Kept Village Competition which was judged back in June this year.  Among those present were Peter Cook the Kennet Co-ordinator of the BKVC, Froxfield Chairman Pat Adams and Councillors Vanya Body and Steve Heppenstall, Richard Fradgley representing the War Memorial Hall as well as our County Councillor James Sheppard and some residents of The College.

Froxfield won £150 cash prize which will be used to purchase more flowers for the planters for next year’s competition.  The shield, which we keep for the year, will be displayed in the trophy cabinet at the hall.
