HELD ON WEDNESDAY 27th JUNE 2018 IN THE MEMORIAL HALL AT 8.30 pm
PRESENT: Cllrs. Pat Adams (Chair), Vanya Body (Vice Chair), Steve Heppenstall, Alex Montague-Smith, Toby Till, Claire Wilson, Sarah Owens (Clerk)
The Parish Meeting began at 8.40pm.

3. Approval of annual audit and accounts: Agreed by all Councillors and duly signed by Cllr Adams – VB to upload to website by end of June 2018.

The payments at (b) were approved by Cllr Adams, seconded by Cllr Montague-Smith and agreed nem con. It was proposed that the Clerk investigates opening a separate account at Nat West for the purpose of separating the Community Fund money so it is easier to keep track of what it is being spent on - SO to speak to Nat West
5. Proposal to use some of the community fund for the renovation of the water meadow:
Cllr Body said that Lottery funding was being applied for in respect of the boardwalk which will be installed once the water meadow is completed. But in the unlikely event the application is turned down, she would like to request that the Parish Council agrees to use £10,000 of the community fund towards the cost. Cllr Adams would like to see this as an agenda item for the next meeting to give time for any public objections to be raised.

Water meadow funding
7. Date of next meeting:
The next meeting of the Parish Council will be on Wednesday 11 July 2018 at 7.30 pm.
8. Public Forum: One query was raised about leaving the water meadow to its current wild state. Cllr Body said that as several trees have damaged limbs and the area was an eye sore for the village with mostly nettles and weeds, it was not an option to leave it
There being no further business the Chairman closed the meeting at 9pm.
